Simon Tucker - Profitable Conversations

Simon Tucker - Profitable Conversations

Effective, productive and profitable conversations with your patients help you to provide a better patient experience and sustain your dental business financially.

In a dental practice, treatment acceptance increases when the whole team work together. The owners going on a Selling Skills workshop is one thing; getting everyone in the practice talking the same language is another.

Patients often say different things to different members of your team. Those conversations need to be shared if you are going to be truly effective.

Simon Tucker is a sales and communication expert. He is adept at helping your team members appreciate that being a salesperson simply means being a good conversationalist. This means being a good listener first!

  • Does your team fear role play?
  • Does your team hate being asked to use a script?
  • Do you want more treatment uptake?
  • Can you work more effectively as a team?

Then Simon's tailored courses are for you.

About Simon

Simon Tucker is a salesman, an experienced business builder and a people developer. He has operated nationally and internationally with some of the leading dental companies in a variety of top management roles.

One of Simon's core strengths is building and developing sales teams through focused training in communication, presentation and negotiation skills, from both a classroom and field perspective.

After gaining engineering qualifications with Rolls Royce, Simon entered the dental world with Wisdom Toothbrushes in 1981. In 1986 he joined KaVo Dental Limited, a company he served for 11 years in a variety of sales, management and training functions, culminating as Sales and Marketing Director for the KaVo America Corporation, living in Chicago. In recent years Simon has worked as Sales Manager for Ivoclar-Vivadent, European Sales Director for KerrHawe and Director of Equipment for Henry Schein UK.

In 2005, Simon set up Medenta Finance Limited with three partners. Over six years, they built the business through word-of-mouth by providing dental practices not only with a finance tool, but also with the skills to talk more confidently about money. The business grew from zero to £25,000,000 per year in treatment finance. In 2011, Medenta was sold to Practice Plan Limited.
